June 2019 - Landscape/Stonemason contractor worked 3 1/2 days to complete. Required 4 large dump truck loads of dirt to fill retaining wall; 4 canvass bags of gravel #9 weighing 1  1/2 tons each, to cover track balasts throughout.  There will be two outer loop mainline tracks each 150 feet long;  the retaining wall area will house a rail yard with multiple switches, sidings, loco sheds, etc.  The layout will be controlled using a 12 amp Massoth DCC Command Station powered by a Massoth 12 Amp DC Power Supply and a Massoth DiMax Navigator hand-held wireless controller.  All track switches will have a Massoth Single Channel Switch Decoder Installed.

September 15, 2019:  Iron Spike Ceremony for completion of the 150 foot inner loop mainline track .  Both mainline tracks are connected together by LGB track switches to the Rail Yard.  Installation of the Rail Yard will continue into the Spring 2020 with two addition track sidings.  Currently there are a total of 18 LGB 1600 Track Switches controlled by Massoth DCC 1-Channel Switch Decoders on 400 feet of track layout.  Additional loco sheds, cargo buildings, the coal and other industrial buildings will be added.

Note the track Wye in this last photo used to reverse the direction of a locomotive on the layout......controlled by a Massoth DCC Reverse Loop Module.  Many railroads used this technique to reverse the locomotive's position if they didn't have a turntable available.
